Orangutan Foundation
For over 30 years we have been working to secure a future for orangutans, forests and people. Help us continue to make a difference by leaving a lasting legacy. Our mission is to save orangutans by protecting their tropical forest habitat, working with local communities, and promoting research and education.
Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, The
Our Centre aims to break new ground for animals by helping people to think differently about animals. The Centre is the first in the world dedicated to pioneering ethical perspectives on animals through academic research, teaching, and publication. We want to put ethical concern for animals on the intellectual agenda, and contribute to an enlightened public debate about animals.
PDSA
Whether it’s the first puppy who plays with you, or the first kitten who snuggles up to you, that moment can begin a lifelong love for pets. That love can live on, with a gift in your Will to PDSA. PDSA has been there for people and their poorly pets in need for over 100 years. Every day we see the unique bond between owners and their four-legged companions and the unconditional love between them.
People’s Trust for Endangered Species
Our wildlife is disappearing. In the UK almost two thirds of species have declined in the past 50 years, and a startling one in ten faces extinction. There’s nothing natural or inevitable about this. It can be stopped, and everyone can play a part. That’s why People’s Trust for Endangered Species exists.
RCVS Knowledge
Do you want to leave a legacy that helps animals receive better care? You can make a difference by helping vets and vet nurses save and improve the lives of millions of beloved animals. When pets fall sick, owners put their trust in vets and vet nurses to give their loved ones the best possible care. Thousands of those vets and vet nurses put their trust in us – RCVS Knowledge – to help them save the lives of countless dogs, cats, horses and other beloved animals, and nurse them back to health.
RSPB (The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds)
At the RSPB we know our connection to nature is irreplaceable. We must nurture and protect it, because without it we are lost. That’s why we’re working tirelessly to tackle the biggest threats facing our world, so one day we can truly thrive together. A gift in your Will to the RSPB is one of the most powerful ways you can support this mission for generations to come.
RSPCA
200 years ago, we made it our responsibility to protect and care for all animals. It’s a promise we've worked hard to keep ever since – and one that thousands of people have helped us to deliver, by remembering us in their Will. 55% of our work is funded by people who have left us a gift in their Will. These gifts are so important and valued. They will help change animals’ lives for years to come.
RSPCA Central London Branch
All creatures deserve enough to eat and drink and a safe place to live and thrive, but sadly that is not the reality for many animals in London. Through our 365 days a year community outreach programme, our Animal Welfare Officers specialise in reaching the most vulnerable and at-risk animals and finding a safe future for them. It is the most difficult area of animal welfare which most charities are not geared up to, but we do not shy away from the challenge.
Red Squirrel Survival Trust
The Red Squirrel Survival Trust is a national charity which aims to establish red squirrel colonies across the UK, protect reds in areas where numbers have stabilised, fund research that helps to secure the red squirrel’s long-term future and secure the environment in which red squirrels thrive, by protecting the biodiversity of Britain’s native woodlands.
Redwings Horse Sanctuary
Redwings Horse Sanctuary believes that every horse, pony, donkey and mule has the right to a happy and healthy life, free of fear and neglect. The charity rescues neglected and abandoned equines from all over the country, giving them a safe place to live and providing essential veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and care for the rest of their lives. Indeed, the charity currently provides daily care for over 1,500 rescued residents, making Redwings the UK’s largest horse welfare charity.
